Ask AI

Ask AI is the assistant built into Retailer OS. Open it from the Ask AI button in the top bar and ask questions about your store in plain English — no report-building required.

What you can ask

• "What sold best last week?" — it reads your sales and answers with the top items.
• "Which items are below their reorder point at the Front Counter?"
• "Who are my top 10 customers by spend this year?"
• "How do I set up a coupon?" — how-to questions are answered from this documentation.

The assistant grounds its answers in your data and in these help docs, so it can both look things up and explain how to do them.

The AI wallet

AI features draw from a small prepaid AI wallet, shown as a badge in the top bar. When it runs low you can top it up (or turn on auto-recharge) under Setup → AI. The badge links straight there.

NOTE

Ask AI answers about the store and location you currently have selected. Switch locations in the top bar to ask about a different shop.

TIP

Ask AI is also how customers get help on your storefront if you enable it — and it uses the same documentation, so keeping your catalog tidy makes its answers better.
