Inventory FAQ
Q. Is stock shared between my shop and my online store? A. Yes — there's one live count per item per location, shared by your counter, online store, and marketplaces. Selling a unit anywhere updates every channel so you don't oversell.
Q. How do variants work? A. An item can have variants like size and colour; each variant has its own SKU, price, and stock. Add them on the item's edit screen.
Q. Can I import my whole catalog? A. Yes — use Setup → Import data to bring in items (and starting stock) from a spreadsheet. See Setup & Admin.
Q. How do reorder alerts work? A. Set a reorder point on an item. When available stock at a location falls to or below it, the item appears on Reorder alerts, ready to add to a purchase order.
Q. What's the difference between quantity and available? A. Available is what you can actually sell right now at a location. That's the number POS and your storefront sell against — keep decisions on it, not on total quantity received.
Q. How do I move stock between shops? A. Create a transfer from the sending location; receiving it at the other end updates both balances with a full trail.
Q. How do I fix a miscount? A. Run a stock count (full or cycle) to reconcile the system to what's physically on the shelf.
